Softest Sweetest Flower

I absolutely loved having this precious little bundle come and visit me at my photography studio in Stellenbosch. Her parents were absolutely awesome and totally nuts about their brand new daughter. The three of them are so perfectly happy together!

I have been looking for an opportunity to include our national flower into one of my newborn shoots, and when I learned of this little princess, I knew I wanted to include king proteas in her shoot.

My closest friends will know about my true feelings regarding proteas and might even be surprised that I would consider including them in a shoot. And to them I say, "Yes, yes, yes, all that is true, but they really did work their magic in this shoot though, don't you think?"
