It was an enormous pleasure having little Ella-Rose visit me for her newborn shoot in my baby photo studio in Stellenbosch. Her mommy won a special birthday give-away through Photography by Jess Commaille on Facebook. This little girl was as good as gold for her whole shoot and took to all her poses with ease. Such a relaxed little soul she was - totally fed my baby craving in spades!!! Her very competent mommy and wonderful granny (a midwife like me!) relaxed with tea and snacks while I got to know their little princess better. Granny had crafted a gorgeous crocheted blank for this little girl which I found thoroughly inspiring and hope to replicate for future shoots. Even Ella-Rose's cute-as-a-button big brother was a pleasure to capture; proudly loving his little sister. Kudos to this very relaxed mommy for producing two sweet as sugar little beans!
